attenuate object

An Attenuate Object remains material, woven and sewn together out of the entirety of my mother’s clothing inherited after her death, the volume of once-worn garments lies flat in a misshapen and oddly familiar form. Soiled with sweat, food and dirt, its edges remain in a state of continual unravel. Encased, it becomes a memorial both removed from and reflective of the body.
